During this winter vacation, I travelled to Harbin which brought me an unforgettable Frozen with its unique charm.
When I first arrived in Harbin, the bone-chilling cold wind came to my face, but it also brought the unique freshness of the northern winter. Central Street, this century-old street, is particularly charming in the winter sun. The European-style buildings are dressed in silver, and the ice sculptures on the street are lifelike, as if they are in a fairy tale world. I stepped on the creaking snow and felt the history and charm of the city.
As night fell and the lanterns were lit, Harbin changed and became a brilliant ice lantern kingdom. The Ice and Snow World, this dream castle built of ice and snow, is breathtakingly beautiful under the colourful lights. I shuttled between the crystal clear ice sculptures, as if I was in a fairy tale world, feeling the shock and romance brought by ice and snow.
In addition to the beautiful scenery of ice and snow, the delicious food in Harbin also makes me linger. The steaming pot-wrapped pork is sweet and sour, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside; the fragrant pork-killing dish is full of weight and warms people’s hearts; and the Madier popsicle, which is bited in the ice and snow, has a unique flavour.
Of course, Harbin in winter is also an exciting ice and snow project. On the Songhua River, I experienced the thrilling ice slide, feeling the speed and passion; in the Yabuli Ski Resort, I challenged myself and experienced the fun of skiing.
The short trip to Harbin in just a few days made me feel the unique charm of winter in the northern country. This city of ice and snow not only has stunning scenery of ice and snow, but also has hospitable people and rich food culture. I believe that this trip will become a good memory in my life.
Let’s enjoy the beautiful local photos together.
